Account, Team & Invites¶
Profile settings¶
Under My account (avatar menu, top right):
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Display name | The name shown in the workspace and in invites. |
| Change email address | The new address receives a confirmation link (valid 24 h). The address only switches after you click it — until then the old one stays active. |
| Admin visibility | Opt-in: allows the operator admins to view your domains and check results for support purposes. Default: off. |
Data export¶
My account → Data export downloads all your data as JSON: profile, workspaces, domains, check history, monitors and settings — in the spirit of GDPR data portability (Art. 20).
Deleting the account¶
My account → Delete account. To confirm, you must type your email address. Deleted are your user account, your workspaces and all domains, checks and monitors within them — irreversibly.
Team members (Team tier)¶
In the Team tier up to five people work in the same workspace (My account → Team):
- Invite: create an invite link (optionally send it by email directly). The invited person joins via the link.
- Remove: the workspace owner can remove members at any time.
- All members see the same domains and check results; alerts and reports are controlled by the owner.
Vernax invites¶
Independently of the team workspace, as an existing user you can invite other people to Vernax — they get their own account with their own workspace:
- Create an invite link under My account (optionally with email delivery).
- Links are valid for 7 days and single-use.
- Anyone coming through a valid link is activated immediately — no admin approval needed.
Closed registration
Depending on the instance configuration, registration may be invite-only. Without a valid invite link, sign-up is then rejected. In that case, ask someone who already uses Vernax for an invitation.
